Our hospitality clients across the UAE, India, Uganda and the UK all hit the same wall: a beautiful feed that does not bring anyone through the door. The fix is never more posting — it is changing what gets posted.
Optimise for saves, not likes
Instagram distributes Reels based on watch-through, saves and shares. A save says "I want to come here later" — which is exactly the behaviour a restaurant needs. Menu reveals, dish builds and "what to order" guides get saved; ambience montages get liked and forgotten.
Three formats that consistently work
The dish build: fifteen seconds, one hero dish, real kitchen, no music clichés. The honest tour: a hand-held walk from the door to the table answering "what is it actually like in there". The order guide: "three things to order if it is your first visit" — the single most saved format we have shipped.
Post less, produce better
Three strong Reels a week beats daily filler, because weak content trains the algorithm to stop distributing you. Batch one shoot a week; edit into three formats.
Route the attention somewhere
Every Reel should end at a bookable action: reservation link in bio, WhatsApp ordering, or a pinned location. Attention that has nowhere to go is marketing spend with the receipt thrown away.
