Most Dubai businesses approach Google the wrong way round: they publish content about what they sell, instead of building pages around what their customers search.
Start from the searches, not the services
Before writing anything, list the fifty searches a ready-to-buy customer in your market actually types. For a Dubai clinic that is "dermatologist near me Jumeirah", not "our dermatology philosophy". Every commercial page on your site should own one of those searches — one query, one page, no overlaps.
The three layers that decide UAE rankings
First, structure: one clear page per commercial intent, clean headings, fast load on mobile — most UAE searches happen on phones. Second, trust: your Google Business Profile, reviews and consistent business details across directories carry enormous weight for local intent. Third, authority: mentions and links from publications your market actually reads.
What to stop doing
Stop publishing weekly blog posts nobody searches for. Stop duplicating the same page for every neighbourhood with the district name swapped — Google filters those. And stop measuring SEO by traffic; measure it by enquiries from search.
A realistic timeline
Structural fixes can move rankings inside a month. Competitive commercial terms in Dubai typically take three to six months of consistent work. Anyone promising page one in two weeks is selling you risk.
